All-on-4® in Edmonton

It’s not uncommon for one or more of your teeth to require extraction as you get older. Patients who are at additional risk for tooth loss are those with a history of dental issues or medical conditions that compromise oral health. However, with the loss of multiple to all teeth, it’s important for you to choose a permanent or removable prosthetic to restore the function and health of your smile.

For patients who require a prosthetic to replace an entire arch, an implant-supported denture is one of the most durable and popular methods of smile rehabilitation. At Grandview Denture Clinic, we provide All-on-4® in Edmonton and collaborate with specialists for the completion of your treatment plan.

All-on-4® denturesAll-On-4 Full Arch Bridges at Grandview Denture Clinic

Dr. Ward offers a variety of denture solutions for patients with a full arch of missing teeth. He and your oral surgeon may suggest All-On-4 permanent teeth, which use two to four dental implants to support a full-arch restoration.

It’s unnecessary to replace each individual tooth one-by-one. Instead, All-On-4 dentures replace an entire row of teeth with one prosthetic and minimal implant placement. The titanium implants fuse with your jawbone over time, creating improved durability. The implants also support the health of your jaw and keep the bone from depleting.

Renewed Function and Aesthetic with All-on-4

Deciding to pursue All-On-4 requires a consultation with an oral surgeon and Dr. Ward, who can help you weigh your options. As long as you are in good general health and understand what is required for best possible treatment results, All-On-4 may be right for you. Dr. Ward performs an examination during this initial consultation to ensure your candidacy for the procedure.

Before you can receive your denture, your oral surgeon will first place the implants. Dr. Ward works with an All-On-4 implant provider who has years of expertise in this type treatment.

During implant placement, two implants are added straight into the jaw and another two placed at an angle to maximize stability for your prosthetic. To expedite your treatment, Dr. Ward fabricates the denture in advance and places it after a two-month provisional period while your implants heal.

Our Edmonton denturist is committed to helping you enjoy a new smile for a lifetime. Along with a custom treatment plan, Dr. Ward reviews pricing information and financing options with you so there are no surprises during your treatment.
